We are professional camper van converters based in North Yorkshire with over 100 years of amassed experience in special vehicle conversions and adaptations.

Our Camper Conversions

VW T6

The VW Transporter remains the most popular choice for campervan conversions. Thistle Rose construct lots of different layouts on the SWB and LWB vans.

Transit Custom

The Transit Custom is a real alternative to the VW T6, available in short and long wheelbase as well as with a hi-top factory roof, this van makes an excellent practical campervan.

Nissan NV200 & eNV200

An exceptionally compact fun vehicle that can make a full camper for 2+2 with a full length bed and side kitchen squeezed into a vehicle that is no larger than a compact hatchback car.

Ducato, Boxer, Relay

The large Sevel vans make exceptional campervans. With their near vertical side walls, they are ideal to convert into a living space. We have various designs for this vehicle including bed-over-garage and rear dinette designs.

At Thistle Rose Leisure, we are qualified, professional automotive engineers with a pedigree in design for many of Europe's main converters. Our staff have worked for household names such as Mercedes-Benz and Volvo in design, vehicle conversion, consultancy and compliance. Our owner, Peter Occardi has worked on European working groups as a national representative for vehicle safety standards in emergency vehicles, where lives depend on the quality of the engineering.

We bring this knowledge pool and mindset on safety and quality to our camper conversions.

Alongside our knowledge of engineering, design, compliance and vehicle conversion we also know what makes a camper van great. From build quality and layout to fittings and equipment, we understand the details that make camper vans part of the family and help us get the very best from our leisure time. As well as being professionals in the field of automotive design, we are also campers - and therefore experienced in fields of a completely different type (usually muddy!).
